The new California Recovery Center app gives the Roseville recovery community one place for encouragement, resources and connection long after treatment ends.

By the time they transition into alumni status, they are continuing a recovery practice they have already begun rather than being introduced to something entirely new.

CRC views recovery as a continuum rather than a series of disconnected stages. Treatment may end on a specific date, but recovery continues long after discharge. Members of the public, including families and supporters, can also download the app. Public access includes daily check-ins, a sobriety tracker, milestone tracking, the meeting finder, recovery resources, and crisis support, which are the same self-directed tools available to clients and alumni. What public users don't have access to is the private community feed, member directory, or alumni-specific engagement spaces, which remain reserved for people who have gone through treatment together. This structure lets CRC extend real recovery tools, including crisis support, to anyone who needs them, while preserving the safety of peer community spaces.

The philosophy reflects a growing understanding in behavioral healthcare that alumni engagement begins earlier than many organizations realize.
