D’Andre Lampkin Officially Qualifies for Ontario City Council District 3 Ballot

Ontario Planning Commissioner and longtime public servant advances to November 2026 election

ONTARIO, CA, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- D’Andre Lampkin has received official notice from the City of Ontario City Clerk’s Office confirming that he has qualified as a candidate for Ontario City Council, District 3, in the November 2026 election.

The qualification marks a significant milestone for Lampkin’s campaign and for District 3, where residents will elect their own City Council representative for the first time.
“Qualifying for the ballot is an important milestone, but the real work is continuing to listen to the people of District 3 and earning their trust,” Lampkin said. “Our community is growing, and residents deserve a representative who will be accessible, prepared and focused on making sure that growth translates into a stronger quality of life for everyone who calls Ontario home.”

D’Andre Lampkin currently serves as a City of Ontario Planning Commissioner and brings experience spanning public safety, emergency management, nonprofit leadership and business. He is also a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff and California POST-certified Academy Instructor.

His campaign is focused on six priorities: strengthening public safety, supporting economic development, managing growth responsibly, increasing government transparency, building safe and resilient neighborhoods, and expanding opportunities for Ontario’s youth.

As South Ontario continues to grow, Lampkin has emphasized the need for infrastructure, public services and community resources to keep pace with development. He has also made direct engagement with residents a central part of his campaign, meeting with voters through neighborhood listening walks and community conversations throughout District 3.

“District 3 deserves a strong voice at City Hall and leadership that understands the opportunities and challenges that come with growth,” Lampkin said. “I’m running to bring people together, advocate for our neighborhoods and help build an Ontario that remains safe, prosperous and prepared for the future.”

Lampkin’s record of community service includes founding the D’Andre D. Lampkin Foundation in 2017. The nonprofit focuses on food security, youth scholarships, health and wellness, and civic engagement, with its emergency food pantry serving more than 1,100 families.

His emergency management experience includes serving as Vice Chairman of the Los Angeles Region Community Recovery Organization and participating in long-term recovery efforts following major emergencies and disasters. Lampkin was also recognized as the 2023 American Legion Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.

With his ballot qualification confirmed, Lampkin will continue meeting with District 3 residents and sharing his vision for the community ahead of the November election.
